Ready, Set, Sew

A good part of the day was spent in the sewing room whipping up more pillowcases.  The count right now is 18 and I'm shooting for 24.  I wish I would have started this project sooner.  I have LOTS of fabric that I can use up!!  Maybe I'll give my serger one more try and see if I can whip these suckers out a little bit faster.  I'm taking the time to put French seams in all of these pillowcases so it's a little bit more time intensive.  It's not too bad though.  I also made binding for my brown/pink/green quilt and sewed it on.  Now I just need to hand sew it to the back and bury the threads.  I think I may keep this quilt and use it on the couch.  We'll see.
