Reminiscence

I remember the jar of buttons my Mom had when I was a kid.  We played "Button, Button, Who Has the Button?" using that jar of magical buttons.  Such simple joys, but as Thomas Wolfe says "You Can't Go Home Again".  Too bad.  Wouldn't it be nice to have one more day of playing outside amid the laundry flapping in the Kansas wind and climbing that huge oak tree in the backyard and not feeling fear?  Ahh . . .
