Tea for Two

My co-worker is throwing a tea party for her daughter's sixth birthday.  It'll be complete with fancy dresses, gloves, hats, etc.  I volunteered to make little aprons for the girls.  And then decided that matching mother/daughter aprons would be nice.

This is how it started:
 Adult apron pattern
 Child's apron pattern
Used the adult pattern to round the edges of the child's apron.
 Voila!
 Added some ruffles
Put some binding on the edges and added the waistband and ties.  Easy Peasy!
 Kid's version
Momma's version

I have a few more to make and then I'm going to make some extra ones as I don't know how big the kiddos are.

I got to spend some time with my favorite guy:

The two boys ignoring each other.
Then doggie thought better of it and decided he better do guard duty again.  He's very protective of baby.
I love you this much, Auntie!!  Aw, it was a great day!!
